UNDERCURRENTS

The photographs in UNDERCURRENTS take the temperature of the United States and document part of the story of how the country has become so fractured and divided. Ironically the subjects in some of the photographs act both to unify as well as divide us depending upon the viewer’s perspective. One universal theme encountered in every state is patriotism expressed in different ways by the use of red, white, and blue.

As we approach the Presidential election in November 2020, many of the photographs in UNDERCURRENTS have added potency.
