Presented by Amber Terranova, photo director, educator, and visual arts producer, the Editing for Impact Project Lab Seminar will focus on utilizing the editing process to amplify your voice. Terranova will discuss honing a statement of purpose, editing and sequencing strategies, and effective presentations for image professionals. Learn how to tailor material for specific audiences and the do’s and don’ts of submitting your work to awards, grants, and publications.
DAY 1: Terranova will discuss the importance of honing a statement of purpose, editing and sequencing strategies, and effective presentations for image professionals.
DAY 2: Provides participants with an invaluable group portfolio review session with each other and Terranova to edit and sequence their projects.

To participate in both days of the seminar, you must add BOTH days listed below to your cart. Please note, there is a limited number of spaces available for only the second day, and may not be available to add depending on its current status.
Day 1 of all available Project Lab Seminars is provided free of charge to 2022 Review Santa Fe participants and current CENTER Members. Please email programs@visitcenter.org for access to the free registration link.

CAN’T AFFORD THE REGISTRATION FEE? • Registration Fee Waivers are available on a case-by-case basis for those that cannot afford the registration fees for whatever reason. To apply, you must fill out our Registration Fee Waiver Request Form before the Fee Waiver deadline of September 22, 2022.
CANCELLATION • You may cancel minus a $35 processing fee until September 22, 2022. Please be aware that there is a minimum number of registered participants needed in order to run the class. Should that minimum not be reached, we will cancel the class and refund your registration fees.

Amber Terranova is an experienced photo director, educator, and visual producer based between New York and New Mexico. She has worked as the Education Director with Magnum Photos and held faculty positions in the BFA department at the School of Visual Arts and International Center of Photography.
Amber has extensive marketing, photo directing, commissioning, and consultancy experience for multiple major brands and publications. She has worked as a photo editor at New York, Outside, Photo District News, The New Yorker, and People. In 2013 Amber was the interim Director at the Bilder Nordic School of Photography in Oslo, Norway. Amber is committed to photography education and to helping photographers realize their creative and career potential. She has taught photography workshops in the US, Europe, and Asia and has been a guest lecturer at several institutions. In addition, she has judged a number of international photo competitions.
