Open to all CENTER members, this exhibition seeks to illuminate the evolving narrative of the nation. In observance of the 250th year of the country's founding, this call invites participants to visually interpret what these defining words signify today. Whether your lens examines the personal struggles of being an American, highlights civic milestones, or portrays nuanced histories of local communities, the theme is open to all interpretations, and submissions of all photographic processes are encouraged.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to photographers of all ages (artists under 18 require guardian consent) who are CENTER members. If you are not a member you can SIGN UP HERE.

AWARD: Select works will be invited to be included in a gallery exhibition in the CENTER space in Santa Fe, NM, and promoted through CENTER channels.
Note - the award does not include, shipping, framing, printing, or additional support for your images.

DEADLINE: Submit work for consideration by July 19, 2026, 11:59pm MT to the CENTER Submittable Account
Receipt of ready-to-hang artwork needs to be received by: August 10, 2026, 5:00pm MT
