A NEW PHOTOGRAPHIC SPACE & LEARNING CENTER IN SANTA FE

CENTER has a new home! Continuing the legacy of excellence in photography in New Mexico, this new venue is a destination for ongoing public exhibitions and programs that serve the New Mexico communities and our global audience.

The new location is the realization of a longtime vision that serves photographers, curators, collectors of lens-based art, editors, publishers, students, educators, and our whole community. It will have CENTER offices, a spacious gallery, classes, and a photographic book library.

CENTER’s renewed physical presence in Santa Fe marks an exciting chapter for the organization and we look forward to welcoming you!

CERTIFIED AUTISM CENTER

We are excited to share that CENTER has worked with The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) to be designated as a Certified Autism Center™ (CAC)! Our staff and some of our public-facing board members have completed training and certification in best practices when assisting autistic and sensory-sensitive individuals. By undergoing additional autism-specific training, the goal is for our team to be better equipped to provide better service and experiences to all. The 2025 CENTER Award recipients photographic exhibition presents documentary and conceptual projects by Chloé.A, Greg Constantine, Mitsu Maeda, Debmalya Ray Choudhuri, Sarah Sudhoff, and Alex Welsh. Their works address stories of vulnerability and living under threat including gun violence, immigration detention, environmental degradation, and familial loss.
